Peuterey Intégrale (Mont Blanc) - Photoshoot
In 2019, Mountain Equipment tasked photographer Uisdean Hawthorn and climbers Robert Grasegger & Tom Livingstone with documenting their new summer alpine collection.
Product shots were important (including the Tupilak packs, base- and mid-layer items, lightweight shell jackets, gloves and soft-shell trousers), but it was equally key to get real climbing action in an authentic setting.
We decided to climb the Peuterey Intégrale, ‘the longest route in the Alps,’ over two days. It follows a jagged ridge spine from the Italian side to the summit of Mont Blanc. Here’s the short film. The photos are still used throughout Mountain Equipment’s promotional material.
